While the model is rather simple I think the texture is great. How did you go about making the texture?

The model is designed to be low poly but high detail - my holding back for the games industry and a good exercise in texturing. My UV mapping was rusty so I used this as a good refresher. It's all made in Photoshop with mixture of found images and textures. image map and bump map only.
